About Me

I started my college education at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas where I completed a BA in Studio Arts in 2006. After working in a university archives, I decided to pursue a graduate degree in library science at UNCG. I focused on academic librarianship and reference services, and earned my MLIS in 2009. I worked as a community college reference librarian and a campus librarian at a culinary school before deciding to make a career change. I returned to UNCG to complete my school media licensure and took a new position as a school library media coordinator at Northeast Guilford High School.

I enjoy being able to share my passion for reading with my students, and use my technology and information literacy expertise to assist students and teachers.
